The Wellington is a community centre located in the heart of Collingwood, a place for social interaction and support to redress disadvantage, cultural and social isolation in our local community. We provide very low cost complementary health care services and activities to people in the area. The welcoming drop-in atmosphere encourages people to meet and interact with others from the community.
The Wellington Collingwood Inc was established in 2004 and operates out of 168 Wellington Street, Collingwood.
We are a Not For Profit Incorporated Association and are endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).

A major strength of The Wellington are our partnerships with other local organisations such as: Australian Chinese Medicine Association of Victoria, Australian College of Optometry, cohealth (previously North Yarra Community Health), City Of Yarra Council, Highland Foundation, Neighbourhood Justice Centre, Order of St Lazarus, St Vincent's Private Hospital, RecLink, Rotary Club of Collingwood, RMIT University andTobin Brothers .
Private practitioners such as yoga teachers, psychologists, naturopaths and masseurs volunteer their time and skills to provide free or very low cost services to our clients.
